Square Zero – Solutioneers is a new company formed by passionate individuals with substantial experience in working with client organisations in multiple sectors but with a predominant focus on Health, Social Care, and Education.

We have seen the benefits that a positive, inspiring physical environment can have on its occupants. At the core of everything we do is a focus on making sure that whatever we create has a real benefit to building occupants and creates somewhere that will help people get better sooner, develop better, or be inspired to learn and challenge the convention themselves. 

We absolutely believe, with passion, in why we do what we do. What we do, and how we do it is a secondary output for us. Most people work in reverse to us - they can tell you what they do. Some can tell you how they do it. But ask them why do they do it and let us know the answer. We would be interested in how many actually know and of those that do know how many aren't doing it to hit a target, realise turnover, or make  a profit!

We believe in the positive effects of collaboration and team working, and that only by properly engaging with the people who use a facility, service, or business can we truly understand their needs and provide an innovative solution that exceeds expectations.

Provision of flexible, ethical, and bespoke services to meet individual client requirements is core to our business. We have significant experience in provision of “Gold Standard” Project Management services with our accreditations, awards, experience, and established approach to delivery of such services; but we do not believe that this forms the true core of our values as a company. 

In order to truly add value to our clients, to work to our maximum potential, and to really make a difference to the lives of the people that use the facilities that we create we always seek opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in the nature of a client’s business.

We seek to fully understand the way in which our clients operate their business, deliver services to their customers, and seek to grow or overcome barriers to change. We engage with all stakeholders, particularly end users and their families or carers. We create a positive and collaborative Team ethos and ensure that everything that we, as a Project Team, do is absolutely aligned with the way in which our clients will realise the benefits of their transformation objectives.

With each client commission we always seek opportunity to engage with future building users to understand how they might interact with their new environment, what they like about their current environment, and what they would change to make it better. Why do we put so much trust in a middle aged (we're being kind!) Architect to design a building for young people, for example?  We engage with the young people, ask them to give use design suggestions, develop designs themselves, and help create an amazing space. All of a sudden we end up with something much more dynamic, much more meaningful, and something that they cant wait to use! What is more, we have offered a new opportunity to inspire and a new life experience for someone who might have been unwell or had limited life opportunities.

We donate a percentage of any profit from each commission to relevant charities - to Mind for Mental Health Projects, to the Fertility Foundation for some of our Fertility Clinic projects. The list goes on. We also work with a couple of local charities to help improve their physical environments. We provide our service free of charge to them and seek to engage others to help on the same basis.  

We care about enhancing people's lives, not about profit for shareholders!
